Seems like the government of China doesn't want the world or even people within China to know it's snatching dogs from their owners and beating them to death....China has blocked the My Dog Votes and the Vigil websites. Read about it here.
Are dog owners dissidents? Well, if they aren't, they darn well should be. Dog ownership, dog owners and dogs are under attack by animal rights extremists (who think that the animal's only right is to die, thanks PETA and HSUS), bottom-line-motivated media outlets controlled by a miniscule number of global conglomerates, lazy-a** vote-whoring and fear-mongering politicians, and the great uninformed and unwashed masses (delete the "m").
What will you do when they come for your dog? For your cat? For what remains of your rights, when you sat on your fat butt while everyone else had theirs whittled away?
Will anyone be left standing?

It won't be drivers. Someone told me today the police are seizing cars - a Corvette driven by a kid who was speeding, owned by the kid's dad, a Lamborghini parked in front of a coffee shop.
The good news is now the car and motorcycle clubs are super angry at the Fiberals - and they have a lot of money.
Check this out (my caps dont' knwo how to do bold):
"Police to require surrender of licence, detention of vehicle
(5) Where a police officer believes on reasonable and probable grounds that a person is driving, OR HAS DRIVEN, a motor vehicle on a highway in contravention of subsection (1), the officer shall,
(a) request that the person surrender his or her driver’s licence; and
(b) detain the motor vehicle that was being driven by the person until it is impounded under clause (7) (b). "
AND
"No appeal or hearing
(13) There is NO APPEAL FROM, OR RIGHT TO BE HEARD BEFORE,a vehicle detention, driver’s licence suspension or vehicle impoundment under subsection (5), (6) or (7), but this subsection does not affect the taking of any proceeding in court."
SO THE POLICE ARE JUDGE AND JURY - THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT IF THEY SEIZE YOUR CAR
And
"A new Part III.1 is added to the Act. This Part provides for the Superior Court of Justice, in a proceeding commenced by the Attorney General, to make an order forfeiting a vehicle (which is defined to include a motorized snow vehicle) to the Crown in right of Ontario if the court finds that THE VEHICLE WAS OR IS LIKELY TO BE USED to engage in certain unlawful activity"
THEY DON'T HAVE TO CATCH YOU, YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO HAVE YOUR EXPENSIVE CAR SEIZED BY THE POLICE AND DESTROYED.
