Calgary is a city that got it right; no breed-specific legislation, very high dog licensing rate, extremely low bite rate, and what is apparently the lowest shelter euthanasia rate in North America. Political will to "do it right" was there in Calgary, and it shows in the excellent results.
The McGuinty Liberals apparently didn't invite Calgary to the public hearings on Bill 132, the Liberals' unjust, unfounded, vague and shoddy breed-specific legislation. Gee, I wonder why *rolling eyes*.
YAY, CALGARY!!!!! I used to live there and I'd like to move back!
