Animals in Haitian disaster

There are animals suffering in Haiti, too.

Apparently the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) will be working on the ground to help the animals in Haiti. They have developed the Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti (ARCH) to assist in the response efforts.

Best Friends Animal Society is also a member of ARCH. If you want to donate, there is a link for donations on the Best Friends website. The website states "100 percent of your donation will go directly to help animals suffering in the aftermath of the earthquake."
